Oregon Thanksgiving Day Run

The Ultimate Tan & Spa has been around since 1996 when the first store was opened and over the past 13 years 7 more stores have opened.  Every year we as a company try and give back to the community or help the needy.  We have done various things such as school supply drives, toy drives and food drives for needy families at Christmas and thanksgiving day meals and groceries for needy families.

When we heard about Give N’ Gobble we thought what a great thing to participate in and it is something new and exciting.  We got all of our locations pumped up with setting up donation jars for dollar donations and baskets for food donations.  Any $5 donated or 3 or more cans of food they receive a free tan.  We also put information in every tanning room at each location on what their money and food donations will go to.  At the front desk we have a large printed thermometer that has a goal dollar amount of $750 and each day we call the other locations and tally up how much we have earned and color it in on the thermometer so our customers can see our progress!

The response from our customers have been great.  Its so nice to see that even though times are tough, people still have the kindness in their hearts to want to help others. Why not join forces to support such a great cause, especially in these hard economic times.  We are a firm believer in doing events with in our community and supporting our local businesses.  We are all so excited to see how great of a response we have gotten already.

We are so thankful for all the donations and can’t wait to see how much more we can raise up until the race!  We look forward to seeing you there!
