"I can't believe the way the Give n' Gobble brings the community together. This is a fantastic event. I was awe-struck watching the youth from our community loading the donations we collected and filling our green room from wall to wall with food. It was a sight to see. Prior to this event we were only able to give families non-perishable food, but now we can afford to give families milk, eggs, fresh fruit, and vegetables. The Give n' Gobble has allowed us to do so many things. Now with these resources we are even starting a Friday backpack program that so needy children could have enough food to get them through the weekend."
~Gerry Eddy, Helping Hands Co-Director
"What a great turnout yesterday. Even the drizzle didn't matter. Thank you so much for taking care of my family (at registration). Everyone i've talked with is very impressed with what you've done. Just know that Helping Hands is very grateful for all your hard work and that of your volunteers. With the money you raise for us, we now provide a lot of fresh items for the families. Things that we couldn't afford to do before. I lost count of how many families we had for Thanksgiving, but ... there will be even more for Christmas. What a great community we live in."
~Gerry Eddy, Helping Hands Co-Director

"Thank you for what you gave to us. You gave us a wonderful family event that will be part of our holiday tradition. You gave the kids pride in their accomplishment that they are still talking about (my 12 year old kept checking your website to see when the times would be posted-it was cute). You gave hope to the people overcoming their pride to go to a food bank to give their family the essentials they need for their daily living. We were marveling over the fact that the race started on time given the increase in numbers over last year. The parking and logistics were easy. It was such an easy way to give and we got so much more than we gave. Thank you so much
~Chrys Hutchings
